š Hey there, I'm Travis! I've been a tech enthusiast since the dial-up days of the internet. My first ISP was actually just someone kind enough to share their extra phone line and modem with me — connected to the internet somewhere inside of UC Santa Cruz. Ah, the good ol' days when the internet was just text and images! But that's where my love for web design, media, and technology in general began.
I'm really passionate about how design and technology intersect, and how they can work together to make things possible that we never thought were before. Lately, I've been geeking out over ChatGPT, which I used to rewrite this very page š .
In my free time, I love tinkering with Linux, python, HTML/CSS/Javascript, and IoT devices. I built a web-controlled robot using C++. At home, I have three Linux systems running, including a raspberry pi arcade cabinet and a home assistant server for automation.
Recently, I've been exploring my creative side and trying to improve my storytelling skills. I'm particularly interested in videography and creating impactful promotional videos for non-profits.
When I'm not working or spending time on my hobbies, I'm hanging out with my lovely wife and two kids.
